It was a fresh start to the new era of smart and digitalized water transportation with LAGFERRY at the forefront of this great innovation.

On this day, Captain Hameed had checked his boat and was ready to sail passengers from Ebute Ojo to CMS via Liverpool on the newly acquired state-of-the-art 120pax MF Jagaban by LAGFERRY. Mariam, the Operation Officer at Ebute Ojo terminal was well dressed in her LAGFERRY uniform and the passengers were already on the queue to board with their smart cowry cards. Niyi on the other end was at the control room with his eyes glued to the giant TV screen, monitoring the movement of all the 91 ferries owned by LAGFERRY and in operations sailing people from one point to another.

Back to the Ojo Terminal, passengers were tapping on the validator with their Cowry Card while Oseni and Azeez fasten lifejackets for the passengers as they proceed on board MF Jagagban. Rilwan, a 3-times double ALUBARIKA Award for EHSQ safety officer was on top of his game ensuring that all safety protocols were observed.

Captain Hameed, gave a pep talk to the passengers. In his voice he said Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain HAMEED, You are welcome on board MF JAGAGBAN, a 120pax Catamaran boat and we shall be sailing you safely from Ojo to CMS via Liverpool, the weather is good at 29°C as we shall be sailing at a 33knot. Your life jacket must remain fasten on you throughout this voyage. The wifi code is lagferry1234. There are USB ports beside your seat to charge your phones, we shall touch down at Liverpool jetty in the next 27minutes...On behalf Hon. LADI Balogun (the MD/CEO, LAGFERRY) you are welcome on board and let's enjoy the sail.

The boat casted out from Ebute Ojo at 7:15am with 103pax, 3 children and 5 crew members and headed on to Liverpool. The passengers were very excited with the ambience of sailing onboard board MF Jagaban, Hon. Apata, one of the passengers on the starboard side was surfing the internet with the free on-board wifi, Mrs. Mofunlewi was reading the Alausa Alert newspaper which was supplied that morning by Mrs. Shade, LAGFERRY Public AFFAIRS Officer and new media.

MF Jagaban touched down at Liverpool at 7:41am as 76pax disembarked the boat. Mr. Moses, the newly awarded best Operations Monitoring Officer of the year 2023 has arranged the passengers going to CMS from Liverpool. 37pax joined the boat as Captain Hameed sail on to CMS marina jetty.

It was among the 37pax that joined from Liverpool was a young man of about 26years old. Shortly after he boarded, fellow passengers then began to perceive a strong stench from the man's backpack. The horrible smell made the passengers suspicious and one of them alerted Deckhand Olukunle Femi (a no nonsense deckhand) of that matter. This caused a little commotion on board, as the captain later got the cause of the commotion, he quickly informed Engr. Amos (the head of Operations) via the onboard VHF radio of his intention to berth at Sabokoji to address the issue.

By a stroke of luck, Capt Hameed saw some LASWA officials on patrol and beckoned on them. The coast guards stormed the ferry in commando style and began to search passengers and their luggage.

One of the coast guards called Alpha-Alpha almost fainted in shock when he opened the 26-year-old man's backpack and found two (2) heads.

2 heads! Exclaimed Mrs. Odofin a regular passenger of LAGFERRY boats. Arrest him! Says Mr. Olaposi he must be a Ritualist!

After examining them carefully, the Guard found out that they were two known heads.

It was a head of a garlic and the other of an onion.

Welcome to a new LAGFERRY.....
