It's no secret that Lagos State has a lot of Traffic Problems compounded by various reasons one of which is the fact that there are just way too many cars on the road. According to the Lagos State Government's Motor Vehicle Statistics for 2012, in Lagos alone there are just over 1,000,000 cars. Did you know that in 78% of all rides, the driver travels alone? Compared to 12% where only 2 people travel in the car and 10% where 3 or more people travel in the car. What is Carpooling? Carpooling, also known as Vehicle Sharing or Ride Sharing is the sharing of car journeys so that more than one person travels in a car. The other day i was in a public bus taking me from work to my house. All of a sudden a bad case of shit or mess hit the air....Everyone started cussing out ooh...Na so one fine chic wey be like say she not dey enter toilet carry the thing for head like gala for go-slow. Siren is a device that makes a loud prolonged signal or warning sound use on road alerting the environment, to warn other drivers and pedestrians of the approach of an emergency vehicle and request the right-of-way. This is used by the authorized users on the road traffic such as state institutions and government officials (the President, Vice President, State Governors and Deputy Governors, Senate President, the Deputy Senate President, the Speaker of House of Representatives etc), hospital ambulances, security companies, bullion vans etc. The siren device must be operated in order to meet the legal definition of that emergency that occurred according to the provision of the law.
